OTHER COMPLEX PSYCHO-LEGAL QUESTIONS
Each referral is defined by the legal question, available evidence, and applicable professional requirements. Additional evaluations may address threat assessment, malingering, and psychological injury or impairment relevant to civil damages.
Consultation & Evidence Review
Consultation helps attorneys examine the psychological evidence already available, identify gaps, evaluate methodology, and determine whether expert opinions follow from their supporting data.
EVIDENCE & INTERVIEW REVIEW
General evidence review includes analysis of interview techniques and interview quality, the reliability of information obtained, and the strengths and limitations of the available psychological evidence.
REPORT & METHODOLOGY REVIEW
Review of forensic reports, assessment methods, expert reasoning, and the formulation of legally relevant referral questions. Consultation can also support preparation for deposition, direct examination, and cross-examination.
EXPERT TESTIMONY
Expert testimony explains the methodology, reasoning, findings, and limitations underlying an opinion so legal decision-makers can evaluate what the psychological evidence supports.
HOW WE WORK
DEFINE → EXAMINE → ANALYZE → COMMUNICATE
Define the legal question. Examine records, assessment findings, interviews, and collateral information. Analyze the evidence using relevant research and accepted forensic methodology. Communicate the opinion and its limitations clearly.
All services are available to juvenile and adult males and females. The scope of each service depends on the referral question, jurisdiction, and applicable professional requirements.
